Norvasc® is used to treat high blood pressure and angina. Norvasc® works by blocking calcium in the heart’s blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure.
Norvasc® is only available with a doctor’s prescription. Norvasc® should only be used under the supervision of a medical professional, as it can cause serious side effects. Before starting Norvasc®, tell your doctor about any medical conditions you have or if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine.
